Elisabeth S. Clark

Born in 1983

She is an artist living and working between London and Mayenne. His work is often the result of simple gestures, light appropriations and small actions. Like what punctuation is to words, these "small marks" produce subtle changes of emphasis, which become acts of translation, in themselves. His artistic practice, as radical as it is minimal, revolves around sculpture, installation and performance, and questions the topography of language, time, sound, thought and their definitions. The musical nature of his poetry allows to rhythm an alternation between appearances and disappearances. Elisabeth S. Clark adds, removes, establishes simple protocols and often refers to literature, music or science.
